Hello all, I came back from vaction after not picking up a club for two weeks. All I read really was the downloaded doc file by 'slicefixer". When I came hope I was like almost a pro. I could hit any shot I wanted. The last three times out I have no clue whatsoever what I am doing. I have slices, hooks, fats, thins and even a "S". What the $#%@. I guess my swing wasn't fundermentally sound to begin with but I really do not know where to begin to fix everything. I really felt like I went back to the basics but I still lost it. Today was a 90+. Help me. Maybe I could send some expert my swing and they could analyze it. Thanks alot, John

Re: Low 70's to 80 and poof!! 95 and no clue?
I had a microcosm of that just last week!
Was blitzing the ball using a modified technique that had worked for 2 weeks. I took it on to improve on my distance.
All of a sudden one Sunday morning I couldn't hit a thing. I was dumping it, hooking, thinning etc. I play off 6 at the moment. Was +4 after 3!
So I just went back to what I know worked before. A short and snappy swing playing a fade. Shot -2 for the remaining 14 holes for a gross +2.
If you wanna score well, and your current technique gets you in trouble, revert to whatever has worked before. It may be as simple as playing a 30 yard cut. But the difference will be that you know where it's going and you can get much confidence from that.
Controlling your ball just means that you play shots knowing what it's going to do. Nothing more.
