  • Need help with hitting the ball towards the toe

I feel like I am hitting the ball well, and my swing feels good. But the majority of my ball marks are towards the toe of the face of my club and it is apparent in the distance I have been creating.

Any ideas why or any good drills to help get rid of this problem.

    Thanks

There can be a number of reasons why this happens:

You may move your weight to your heels in the downswing.

You may pull your hands nearer to your body.

You may be trying to swing the club too much up and down the line instead of around your body. Make sure you are turning back with your shoulders and your left arm stays connected to your chest.

Your clubs may not be correct in that the shafts could have too much flex for your swing.

Focus your eyes on the front of the ball, not the back or top (center). This will get you to hit more inside out and bring the heal into the ball and not the toe around to it. This should also solve the power problem.
