Until recently, I was able to hit quite a nice shaped fade, which is useful on the course I play. I'm a leftie and there's a a couple of left hand dog legs.
After playing really badly in the last few weeks, I decided to break down my swing to try and work out was going wrong. Much to my amazement (and horror) I found that I was reverse rotating my arms through impact. This, probably, explains all the shots that I hit off the toe of the club; almost shank-like, insofar as direction is concerned
A few sessions down the driving range and I'm now hitting the ball much more solidly with a draw shaped flight. The downside is that I can no longer fade the ball.
Any suggestions as to how can I get the fade back without sacrificing the solid ball striking which I've rediscovered?
