Yikes! Straight left!!

Greetings all....

New to the site, so I apologise if this question has already been asked.

I am a 23 h'cap, so getting there slowly but surely!!

I have come across a problem the last couple of months, but only with one club....3 wood off the tee.

For some reason, its going straight......but left. Its annoying, because I use it off the tee for a 210y Par 3 and it would reach perfectly if it went straight! To get to the ball and see that your level with the green but 20-30 yards off target is so frustrating!

Your are probably swinging outside the ball to target to inside during your downswing or what is referred to as 'over the top' This can cause many bad shots including pulls.

Went for a game today and tried something new.....and it worked!!

Made a slight adjustment to my back swing. I usually do a wide takeaway, but I changed to bringing the club up sooner- and it worked wonders! Not one pull.

Worked really well with my driver too. Did'nt miss one fairway....unfortunately my iron play was terrible!!!

If its not one thing, its another!! LOL!!

But we all go back for more.....
