  • Best advice i can give struggling players

Well after shooting half reasonable scores, yet feeling like i was only playing at 50% technically, i went down to the local course today with my video camera.

I wish i did this a long time ago as it’s amazing to see on video what you don’t notice or feel doing when you actually hit that little ball.
I had a big problem of hitting out – to – in.. i knew i was doing it and what ever i tried didn’t work.. though i haven’t fixed it yet as i only just reviewed the footage it’s clear to see what i was doing wrong.

So for anyone out there who is struggling with their game, take a video camera with you, set it on your bag recording while you play your shot. get some reverse and side on shots, go home and study it. Use VLC media player to slow the frame rate down to .13 or .25 of a second to really capture the shots… also. i recommend recording in high detail on your camera if you can. I recorded in long play and the images are a little blurred.
