  • hitting the ball higher

I know it is touch to diagnose swings without seeing them but I have usually hit the ball high. Recently, my driver and irons are going low with high velocity. It doesent hurt my game so much on the driver as it does my irons. I am a 140 out and i hit a nine iron....before i know the ball would go 140 total distance....Now it may go 150......

Are there some simple techniques I can check to try to correct the issues? I start out with a the ball just off my left foot already on driver and more towards left of center on my irons..

    thanks

Sounds like you are delofting your clubs, this will create lower and longer flight. If you want to change it then play the ball a little further back and/or don't allow your hands to be so far ahead of the ball at impact.

i thought the ball towards my left foot (i am right handed) makes the ball go higher?

      am i wrong?

Not if you are sweeping it off the ground. It depends where your right foot is placed.
