I got this new training aid called the Pro Tour Card and it's really helping my game a lot. It's the cheapest training aid I've ever bought too. It's especially helped my putting game. When I first started using the card I was toeing my putter head. This Pro Tour Card straightened my putter head out when I putted over the weekend in my round I only took 20 putts! Talk about being in the zone!!! The drills are really different but easy to use. The two-ball putting drill has really helped me a lot and I had never seen any of these drilla before. And they're so good! They are hard to explain but easy to do. Go to www.protourcard.com to check it out

Re: My training aid
WOW that is a amazing; 20ppr is literally unbelievable. Since the Tour Card covers EVERY aspect of the game I've ordered two copies and my best friend and I have quit our jobs so that we can dedicate ourselves to practising for the next Q school, if the product's only HALF as good as you say then I reckon our futures are secure.

Re: My training aid
BDBL, I don't recommend quitting your job because once the word about the PRO TOUR CARD spreads, everyone (PGA players included) will start making huge leaps and bounds in their game. It will change everything but also the playing field will once again level out once everyone starts using the card and changes are made to the courses. Just kidding. The card IS really good though and I DID only putt 20 times in my last round. Do I expect to do that next round? - Probably not, but I expect to be consistently putting much better.

Re: My training aid
Ok, so I had a look on the web-site and here goes;
Its basically a PVC card that you lay on the ground with four arrows pointing to the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock "positions"
You insert a tee in the middle and can align you club face square with you aimed direction....
There is also a DVD with it that presumably shows you how to do the drills...
The drills are;
GOLF DRILL #1 “Square Face Drill” (putting): You hit two balls (off the card after aligning your face with the card) with the face and if the run parallel then your hitting the stroke square at contact.
GOLF DRILL #2 “Acceleration Drill” (putting): Basically don't swing too far back and then decelerate through the ball, not sure why you need the card for this one?
GOLF DRILL #3 “Square Path Drill” (putting): Same as drill one, but it seems that you place the card a few inches in front to check that you are getting them parallel
GOLF DRILL #4 “Single Ball Drill” (putting): Basically you get to properly align the club face and you have to hit over two tees to make sure you are hitting the ball in the middle
GOLF DRILL #5 “Chipping Drill” (chipping): Use the card for alignment and then the tee peg to make sure you are hitting down on the ball properly
GOLF DRILL #6 “Angle of Attack Drill” (short irons & wedges): Same principle as #5, very similar o the way that ... ...... uses a sheet of wood in this video;
GOLF DRILL # 7 “Club Path Drill” (all clubs): Place the card between you and the ball and if the divot goes in the same direction, then your club path is gooda longish tee placed in the same position will do the same job
GOLF DRILL # 8 “Alignment & Ball Position” (all clubs): Point the "12" arrow at your target and then you can use the "3" & "9" arrows to check that your club is square
GOLF DRILL # 9 “Bunker Shots Drill” (greenside/fairway): Same as #8... but in a bunker
GOLF DRILL # 10 “Draw & Fade” (Driver): Same as #8, but you put the card on an angle to create draw & fade
GOLF DRILL # 11 “One Unit Stroke” (putting): Put the card between your wrists to make sure that the stroke is not coming from cocking your wrists
GOLF DRILL # 12 “Indoor Putting” (putting): The same as #1, but indoors
GOLF DRILL # 13 “Indoor Chipping” (chipping): The same as #5, but indoors and you use a second ball instead of a tee peg
I've put thesymbol by those that are 'filler' drills that are really just like other ones, or those that are easy to do for a few pence/cents...
All in all, it's quite an expensive piece of PVC that you could probably do yourself, for a fraction of the cost... and the skills taught by the drills can be gained for free on the internet as in the video I posted...
Still, it may help your game, but don't be taken in by all the talk... I can do all the putting skills and have done them since I started playing golf, although I'm a very good putting only hitting 20 means that your either Tiger, not scoring properly, lying, played a nine or have a generally good putting stroke and had a very 'lucky' round.
SCW
btw all the drills are shown Here

Re: My training aid
In my opinion it's a bit of plastic card and if it sells for more than a few $ then it's a rip off.
All the drills are pretty standard ones that are readily available on the net and dont need a bit of plastic card to learn.
If it helps you then that's OK but I cannot see how it can make anyone a super-putter or great golfer.

I actually decided to make one myself and took it to my local pitch & putt course, it was quite useful to get the shot lined up and the club head square... but I don't really have a problem doing that anyway.
So if you have difficulties with this, you may want to try copying it otherwise...
Oh and I only took 16 putts!!... it was a nine holer tho
