When I go to the driving range before my Sunday match with my buddies I have a routine I use. I start with my 9i and work through all of my odd numbers clubs then hit my driver. I then start all over with my pitching wedge and work all of the even clubs then end with my driver. Now when I get to the first tee no problem with my driver. But on my league night its right from the car to the tee box and its either a nasty hook or slice. I am wondering maybe I should just start of with my 7i till I get warmed up. Unless you guys have any ideas as to what I can do about the driver.
    Thanks

Why are you not able to hit the range before your league play?

Tee off with a 3w or a long iron. Ease into the round.

I have the same problem in the afternoons. Same answer as Greg posted. My first hole is 425 yard par 4. I hit a 5 wood off the tee, and then lay up 50 yards from the center of the green. A LW at the hole, and hopefully a one putt for par. I might even do something similar on the second, and third holes, or until I know I warmed up properly. No club in your bag should have a specific time, or place to be used. Imagination is a great thing when playing the game of golf. GJS
