Hi,
Before I consult my pro I thought i'd ask a question I have about swing plane.
I have always thought that to have the club on plane it would be so when, on the backswing, when the club reaches parallel it should be pointing down the target line and likewise, on the through swing it should be pointing down the target line when parallel. I appreciate that as the club continues on the backswing, when the arms reach parallel the club is pointing down at the ball (or slightly inside), and so on.....
However, when for example I watch some pros on the swing vision on youtube, it looks that when the club is parallel on the backswing the club head is outside the hands, which to me looks to be pointing well left of the target line. I also read about pros talking about keeping the head outside the hands.
Have I got this wrong or am I just not taking viewing error into account.
Thanks guys.
