A guy joined our four ball yesterday who had a strange looking grip but it worked fantastically well for him. He hit it a mile with great compression. He was right handed and he put his right index finger straight down the aft side of the grip. It looked as if the club would fly out of hands. But it worked great for him. Has anyone saw this grip before or even use it? I tried it but struggled with it. I have never seen any of the pros using it.

Re: Strange grip but worked great!
Never have, but I see no reason why for many, it would interfere with performance and for some, help keep that index finger lag pressure in tack.Originally posted by arny660 View PostA guy joined our four ball yesterday who had a strange looking grip but it worked fantastically well for him. Personally, I think the guy may be a "player" playing with a regular grip as well and not because of his unusual grip.
