well, i think i got it for now. grip ok, stance ok, ball position ok for shot. but tempo!!
how does one learn the tempo for the various shaft lengths and keep it static during the changes,i.e. walk up to the first tee. three wood, great shot, tempo is cool, goes straight or slightly left (righty), but long, next shot, short iron, goes straight, but a little right., but on the green. puts out, goes to next tee, three wood agian, bummer, super hook to out of bounds and in the weeds. hands and arms seem to have out raced the body. next shot droped near out of bounds, five iron, straight to the green and a few yards short. next shot, driver 8 degree, par 5. straight and silightly left (righty) but ok, 7 iron to green, but hit it right like 30 yard slice, seems body out raced hands. dropped the ball near out of bounds and lobbed it up on the green. next hole par 3, 150 yards, 8 iron and its off to the left some twenty yards past the green. lob back and putt. nex hole is dog leg left extreme, many hit over the barn and land it with in a pitch to the green. i hit and its luner to the right only aobut 100 yards. felt my body totally out race my arms and the hit way behind and under.
well its down hill from there.
its not always that way, sometimes, the same hole is straight while the next one is hooked or sliced. i think it is tempo or keeping my arms and hands with my hips.
any tips?
thanks
