    I use the pump drill, it helps alot.

      I understand what you are talking about, I am merely stating that that particular drill is helpful in ingraining what it should feel like to have lag and a proper downswing, especially for those of us who have negative torque/flat loaded releases.
      Excuse the ignorant attempt at simplification of what apparently is a life's work.

        What you are saying makes sense I guess (love what you have to say about those great mysterious shots and have pondered this often), but I am trying hard to observe the "micro-move" in the videos posted and I'm just not seeing it. Just a slight pause at the top of the backswing is what I see, particularly in the Watson vid. What am I missing?
