I don't know what happened but we lost a great poster with lots of good info.
Can the moderator ask him to come back.

It's 'Go Low' by the way, not 'Lowpost'.

I have contacted him and asked if he could reconsider, he thinks that not enough on the site participate. He had some disagreements with a few members and I would not wish to comment on the rights or wrongs of the issues, I would however have thought none of them were so bad that he needed to remove his posts.

'Go Low' did exactly the same thing a few years ago, lets hope he reconsiders and participates again.

Sorry, I did mean "go low". He and I shared many concepts in common and I could not understand the sniping and thread hijacking from "Ringer".
Thanks to "Ringer", we no longer have probably the best and most enthusiastic poster on this site.

I have to say in my honest opinion that no 'one' member was to blame and it would be unfair to place the fault at any single person. There is nothing wrong with someone disagreeing with anothers theories and explaining their reasons for disagreement. There were some unfortunate personal comments made and it was not all one sided. I did try on a few occasions to moderate the discussions.

As a Moderator I delete posts I find inappropriate and not due to them disagreeing with my views. Maybe you could add more to the site in the way of inspirational golfing debate, I cant recall much of that from you. It's easy to sit on the fence and jump down where it suits with sarcastic comments. Come on then 'Slavera' show us how it should be done. Or is disagreeing with you a problem?

For the record, this was the post of yours I deleted as being unsuitable and relating to other members views on the Ryder Cup. Nothing to do with my views:

Not really a great loss.
