Not very much... tilt looks like coming from moving hips towards the target and keeping head still?

I think it might be a good method to start with Shawn's idea of just swinging and after being able to keep everything still you might try to add "juice"? What do you think? That might end up closer to Ringers but with more control ... I mean first you learn and then you master?
Absolutely, well said. Asking a novice to have a swing like Ernie or Tiger is asking a bit too much and will probably screw them up with too many swing thoughts. Shawn is IMO a great teacher and backs up his teaching with the way our bodies and brains react to the movements of the swing, this sets him apart from most golf instructors to me.

This might be an unortodox way of training.... but I will share this with you.

I have had a Wii console for 3 weeks and played golf on it.

Every shot I have tried to execute shawns swing - keeping pressure on left inner foot, and letting it kind of swing to right inner foot during backswing. (I wish Wii had a real golf club to get to correct weight and feel.)

I've learned to center my swing - I don't go so much on my right leg and my head is more centered and .... and I drop my arms first and let them pull my up to my followthrough. Works in Wii - don't know it it works in reality.

BUT it's much more fun than just swinging your hands....
