I'm sure some of you have heard of Shawn Clement, but for those that have not - and are looking to improve your game - I highly suggest watching his videos on youtube.

I've honestly been off and on as a follower of his swing ideas mainly because when I first started here, I got in my own way many times. Always trying the 'new' and 'most powerful' swing.

When the dust settles after the hype - I always come back to SC. He makes things so clear, explains them without hesitation - not to mention he replies back personally to your questions. Even if you haven't subscribed to his forum.

So if you are new, or just looking for some better understanding on how the swing works - check him out - and check all his videos out.

Hi Matt, great opening vid. I look forward to seeing the rest. There is so much good info out there freely given, I know they have saved me a swag of money for lessons. Like following a coach, you just look for the ones that click for you.

Shawn is another good coach who backs up his swing lessons with the bio-dynamics that make it happen.

+1 for Shawn Clement's contributions on youtube:

His explanation of swing plane has help me set up better
His explanation of skipping the sole of the fairway woods & hybrids has helped with managing my trajectory on the long clubs
The way he uses the hips & legs in the swing have saved my back and helped me make complete swings. To hell with the x factor!

Also +1 for sprcoop's comments on letting gravity do it's job. It's amazing how much better a swing feels when you don't swing hard from the top.
