  • Still at it. Pushing that is.

I can't believe this. But even with all the help I am still pushing shots directly right. But this is the weird bit. I do not do it with the driver and irons now. But, I carry a 7 and 9 wood with which I have been deadly in the past. These are the 2 clubs that I am doing it with. They are the same make as my irons so I can't see that being a factor. But there you go. Think I am past help. But if anyone has any further ideas, I would be happy to hear them.

Try playing the ball a little more forward in your stance.

That could be the complete answer Brian. I have thought about it. I am going to try it at the range tomorrow and then on the course Monday if possible. Will let you know.

That sorted it then Brian, thanks. Didn't push one of them. It's a poopy game tho, is it not? I started slicing drives towards the end of the round.

Thats good Bri. Although playing the fairway woods a little forward maybe you have moved your driver position forward as well. Try keeping the driver ball back a little.

You are probably right as usual. But for the life of me I can't see how that would do it. Have you got an explanation for me please as I got a big comp Wed?

If your ball position gets too far forward with your driver it can cause you to start cutting across the ball from out to in, this will create a slice. If you keep the ball back a little with the driver you will be able to hit a little more in to out which will favour a draw. Dont overdo it though.

Sorted that now too Brian. That is all it was. It is making me be a bit more careful when setting up
