You are correct I make mistakes when playing social golf because it doesn't matter so much. but my two partners playing to 2 and 4 never change their games, I on the other hand seem to suffer from this unexpected dip in form.
I can hit a golf shot as good as anyone but for no reason every now and then even in comps I can hit a really bad shot through lack of commitment to the shot. We all hit bad drives and miss greens that's normal, what I mean is deeper than that, somewhere in my mind is a doubt.
I wrote in to Greg and the crew last year about this problem I will have a look on my profile to find it.
