  • Aligning the club head!

    Hi All

I am having difficulties using my 3 and 5 woods. I seem to have developed a vicious slice and am pretty sure its to do with the club head position at address. Im just not sure if the club head is align with the target, and whether or not the club should be rested flat on the ground or slightly tilted up or down,
    any advice much appreciated!

The sole of the club should rest flat on the ground. If it doesn't then you will alter the lie and loft of the club.

Alignment is always a bit of a problem for some people. What I suggest you do at the range is to align the logo or stripes of the golf ball with the target and then the marking on the crown of your wood to the logo/stripes. After the while it will become more comfortable and build into your setup.

Alternatively, pick a mark in front of the ball (which is line with the target) on the golf course and align the clubhead to that.
