hitting 3 woods

ya just wanderin if anyone has any adviceor tips on hitting 3 woods off the tee and in the fairway. ya got my titleist pt 15 bore-thru DG stiff300 baby yaya fo sho.cant wait aight ya any tips woould be nice

Off the tee, the 3W sets up very similar to your driver. The ball should be lined up about a ball width inside the front foot. As for height, the ball should be teed up about 1/2 a ball width above the club face. Your stance should be about as wide as your shoulders.

As for hitting your 3W from the fairway, basically it the same as above. There is 1 differenceut being that you need your stance a little bit wider to shallow out your stance since you do not have a tee to hit from.

Well, for knocking a 3 off the tee, tee the ball up about 1/2", then swing the same way you would for your driver (sweep). Play the ball in the same place you would your driver.

As for hitting off the deck, I prefer to sweep with no divot - and play the ball 1 ball width inside my left heel.
