I wouldn't buy it just because it's in your pro shop.

I would buy one if it was going to help improve my game. You will gain as much from a momentus as removeable weights. Just attach the weight on your clubs for warm up and remove before you are ready to hit the ball.

Are you talking about the momentus or the medicus? The momentus is just a weighted club. The medicus will help with swing flaws. Try it out first before you buy it though. If you don't break the hinge at any point, there isn't much use buying it!!!
