  • Where should you look when fading/drawing?

Whene fading the ball, I prefer to aim my body to the left, with the face of the club open to the stance, where I want the ball to go (and vice-versa for a draw). However, am I supposed to physically look at a target where the body and club face would normally by facing if it were a straight shot, or do I look at where the ball will land (ie. to the right, open to my body alignment). If I do the latter, the ball normally goes there but straight. I think most people out there will say focus on a "target" where the ball will start off before fading off, but just wanted to check with you guys first

    Thanks all

I look at the ball, I do look along the path I am expecting the ball to fly.

You should look at a target that is down the line where your feet are aligned.

If you are focusing on your intended target AFTER, in your case, the fade, your body will adjust and you will no longer be swinging down the line in which your feet are aligned. If your clubface is aligned to the final target (open to your stance for a fade) and your swing path ends up square to the line the clubface is aligned, the shot will end up straight.
