I have never been a fan of the"bump" simply because it can produce a balance problem. Turning through is a natural result of turning back. After all, why do we take a backswing if not to coil our upper vs. lower body. Uncoiling then is easier.
Remember, lazy legs=pulls/hooks; overactive legs=pushes/slices.
