  • Outside-In Swing

I have a severe outside-in swing which leads to some pretty consistent/ugly slices. I recently had a lesson, and the pro corrected my aiming (I had been lining up aiming right of the target, which is apparently the genesis of my outside-in swing). Now, when I line up correctly, I am hitting balls off to the left because I am STILL swinging outside-in. I can't seem to get my mind & body to swing inside-out.

Any miracle cures for an outside-in swing?

    Thanks.

First off, you are not alone 90% of the golfing population slices.
luckily it can be fixed with dedicated, and productive practice. One thing that you can do to fix your slice is: align parallel left of the target as you normally would (ALWAYS USE ALINGMENT CLUBS) Then drop your right foot back (behind you) about 1-1.5 feet this will get you to take the club to the inside ensure a powerful coil and will put in a position to to drop the club from the inside, by doing this you will encourage a proper and powerful release through impact. DO THIS SLOWLY AT FIRST feel your arms and hands drop and focus on releasing you arms and hands through impact until you can get the ball to curve from right to left. I suggest teeing the ball up with a wedge first then move on to the longer clubs.

I know this will help your slice, let me know hot it goes, I'm always happy to help.
