I just played my first round since January and I really focused on trying to maintain that cupped position with the right hand. I am a 24 handicap and I shot a 94. I felt like I made good contact with the ball all day and hit some pretty nice shots. Think I will continue to work on that hand position, not to mention my putting, my short game, my sand game, etc. LOL

Fix No. 3 Right-hand Drill mimics impact
"This drill helps you feel the proper impact position. While holding the club with your left hand and with the club halfway back, place your right hand on the grip, your hand open and fingers extending down the shaft (below left). Swing the club to the top and down to impact, keeping the right wrist bent on the back of the grip. If you've been straightening the right wrist, you'll feel a definite difference--here and in your real swing."
The next Google was was a holster for a drill that is for right-handers...
Todd wrote his in Feb 02, so I tried to go back where I first created mine just for fun, and it was June 01.

Golf is a game that is played on a five-inch course - the distance between your ears.

If you're caught on a golf course during a storm and are afraid of lightning, hold up a 1-iron. Not even God can hit a 1-iron.
~Lee Trevino
Actually, the only time I ever took out a one-iron was to kill a tarantula. And it took a seven to do that.

Re: The Infamous Right Hand Drill
Well, I have been useing the "Righ-Hand Drill" for about 2 weeks now at the range. And I must say it has improve my ball striking. I have had people even come up to me and ask what and why I am doing the drill. Then I see them doing it to a few days later. Thx for the tip Greg!

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

I just finished reviewing the right hand drill - all of a sudden the 'waiter' reference makes perfect sense.
And Greg, to quote the peas from VeggieTales:

The full quote is "You 'ave a nize houze. Do you have any food, in zees nize house?"
