  • shifting grip

I have developed a huge problem that I can't seem to solve. I seem to be re-gripping the club at the top of my backswing such that when I come through the ball the face is closed down and I thus continually hook the bejesus out of the ball.

Thoughts on how to fix this?

    thanks,

    Dave

    Re: shifting grip

This problem is a result of inconsistent grip pressure. You should be able to support the club with the last three fingers of your left hand. What is happening is that you are letting go of the club with these fingers. Focus on having a constant grip pressure, and keeping those fingers connected to the grip of the golf club.
