Im new to the game and I seem to be improving on the iron play. Im getting about 200 yards out of my 5 and most fly high and straight. When I do miss its a pull, hook or a combination of the two. I cant hit the woods well. ive got driver through 5 wood and a hybrid 3 iron. Sometimes I get lucky with the driver off the tee but its inconsistent and there is no way I could hit any of the clubs off the deck. What can I do?

I hit a low pull that flys no further than 150 yards. Hella topspin on it too. It dives into the ground.Originally posted by mindfulkingComment

Maybe focus on the fact that that woods are swept from the ground not hit down on like an iron. Also look at where you play the ball in your stance, perhaps you are playing them a bit too far back. Driver inconsistancy could be not teeing the ball at a consistant height. I am a hacker too, so these are all theories. I am sure one of the pros will have good advice.Comment

Im playing the ball off of my front heel and my feet are just a bit wider than my shoulders.Comment
