Re: Tension at top of back swing

    Hi Simon,

Big improvement here as I can see how the ball is shooting off the golf club. Good to see that you are putting plenty of effort into getting things right.
Here are some more comments. Refer to the pictures that i have attached.

    1) "setup"
    - Your waist angle is find now (red line). Dont bend anymore that that.
    - Your legs are a little too straight. bend you knee just a bit more.
    - Try to get the thighs and arms to be parallel (note blue lines). Take note of where your butt is here (green line)

    2) "top"
You keep your head level steady here which is good. However, you are still straightening. As you can see, your butt has now moved (yellow line) and that your thigh angle straighted up (white line).

    What to do:
Try to keep your butt position and your thigh angle the same. to do this, focus on keeping your right knee flex through out the back swing.
When you do this, your will notice even more tightness in your backswing coil. Dont worry if you dont feel you can do a complete backswing. Go to as far as you can and your flexibility and strength will improve the more you do it.

    One more note:
Your downswing is pretty much from your waist upwards. You can see that your hips are pretty much square to the target line at impact. They should be turning towards the target. Try to start your downswing more with turning your hips to face the target and let your upper body follow. This should add even more power to your shot when done correctly.

I look forward to seeing your next video.

    Matt

      Thanks Matt!

Gosh, I didn't realise my tush was coming in so much. If you had not pointed that out to me, I might have totally missed it out. Really appreciate you taking the trouble to analyse my swing for me. I owe you big time!

Will continue to make adjustments and post my swing up for analysis!

      Thanks so much!

        Hi Graham,

I don't know why, but the ache in my right chest has gone away just like that. I suspect it has something to do with the adjustments I've been making with my swing though, trying to get more body/shoulder rotation so it doesn't cramp up my right side that much
