  • Best place to buy impact decals

I just bought new clubs and I am still working on trying to be more consistent. Any one know of any place on-line that I could buy the impact decals (The ones you stick on the club face that shows you if you hit the sweet spot or not)

I am doing something wrong sometimes when I tee off with a three iron. The ball goes about 20 yards skimming the ground. I think, I am lifting my club too soon and it hits the bottom edge of the club. Just wanted to confirm this with that impact decal.

    Thanks
    Sunny

Edit: Nevermind, I got them from my local golf store at lunch.

I use paper masking tape from any hardware store, cheap. Good luck.

        hi
try e-bay i get mine there and there always dave pelz shop. using talc works good, and you only have to use it every 10 balls or so, but with the impact tape when your finished put it in a note book and put the date and how you felt when you played and what club ou used, then look back in a year and you will be so suprised how much you have improved even if your score has not droped that much in that timeyou will be hitting more in the sweet spot.

          I use a dry-erase (whiteboard) marker.

Masking tape, or even electrical tape will do the same thing as impact tape. It is also less expensive to use. Those are all I ever use, once I saw some PGA tour pros using the same types of tape. Another idea you can try is talcum powder on the club face. You can apply it direct from the bottle to club face, or put it on a towel first then apply it to the club face.

What ever you use be sure to clean the club face after you are done. GJS

I use impact spray, purchased it on ebay. Its very good but can undercoat the person in the next bay if there is a wind

LOL You then only have to apply your topcoat of talcum powder over them, and Robert is your father's brother...
