  • Lead hand is dominating the swing

I am right handed but swing left. What this means is that my right hand dominates my swing. Is this a bad thing? Some other threads talk about maintaining lag (which is done primarily with the left) which I find difficult to feel, much like trying to through a ball with my left arm.

On the flip side, I feel that I can maintain a firm right wrist.

I am left handed and swing right. I know what you are talking about. This is a good thing from the respect of the leading hand/arm wants slightly more control on the club, and that allows the trailing hand/arm to relax slightly...all comming naturally to us swtich hitters.

Where we need to work on is getting the trailing hand to release fully. We tend to hit the ball lower.
