This is what we should all be striving for. Maybe seeing this picture can help give some guys the mental image as to when you should be releasing your hands (myself included).
I love searching pics of top players - they can tell you a lot!
And actually, now that I look at it a second time, it's even more incredible. I bet if you had a picture of his takeaway, his hands/arms/shoulders would look almost exactly the same at this point on the way back. It seems pretty obvious that once he gets the club parallel to the ground and gets the wrists cocked, he just turns his shoulders to complete his backswing (http://img.timeinc.net/golfonline/im...cher_tip2.jpg), then just rotates the shoulders back to this point and then releases the hands/clubhead through the ball.
