i am about a 10 handicap.....well i have a problem with my swing at the top......i took lessons a while ago and was told that i am casting the club and losing lots of power....my teammates at college tell me that i am coming over the top a bit.....i have a lot of problems with irons 3-6.....they start of straight and then hook ....its frustrating because i usually find the middle of the fairway with my driver.....plz help me......how should i start my downswing to keep me from casting and going over the top.....if this is the problem.....if you know any solutions that would help me with my downswing or to avoid any of these problems, plz help me.....

check out Greg Willis website right hand drill. After working with this drill for only a couple of days, I shot my best score at an executuve 9 hole course of 2 under. In addition, it is helpful for all aspects of the short game as well.

If you are casting or swinging from the top you would not have a problem where the ball goes straight then hooks. You would be more likely to have problems with slices, or pulled shots, the only hook I think is possible is a pull hook with casting is a pull hook. I may be wrong but casting does cause an outside to in swing path.
