i have a problem with swinging to the inside. when i am on my downswing as i hit the ball i pull the club to the inside losing power and direction. My divots usually go way to the left while the ball goes the opposite either straight or to the right. What can i do to fix this

Your hands are releasing too early at the top of the swing. This causes the club to thrown outward away from you body, and when you get to the bottom of the swing you have to pull them back in and that causes the out-to-in path. If you face was square you get a mild slice. If they where open, then you get a bad slice.
So the drill is to be parient with the hands. Let them lose the race tot he ball. Let the hips win, the shoulders place, and the hand show.
