Can Anybody Tell Me Why, When I Hit My Irons They Go Straight And They Look All Over The Green In The Air But They Just Seem To Bomb And Drop 10 Yrds Short, When Iam Playing Well The Same Club Could Easily Be Through The Green?, ,

sounds like your sweeping the ball instead of hitting down on it. that wii cause alot of spin and loft on the ball witch will cause it to fall short. check you set up.

you are scooping it. Hit down on the back edge of the ball... YOu need to find a patch of grass you hate.... and do Vj's favoret drill. Take divits and work backwards... Ball first. divot second... ball first divot second. etc... your irons will feel crispy and ball flight wont even move in the wind.

sounds about right to me as when iam not hitting very well i do tend to get the ball a bit fat cheers ill try that for a while .
