  • strong grip

my instructor recently had me switch from a neutral grip to a

strong one because I used to hit fades and pushes. But now i hit

mostly pulls, very few straight shots. Could my grip be too

strong. i can see 2.5 to 3 knuckles on my left hand when i grip

the club. Also, does a strong grip eliminate the need for a flat left

    wrist at the top.

    thank you

I teach a swing with no compensations. A neutral grip is correct along with a flat left at the top. The problem is probably in another part of your swing.

Corrections can a bandaid or a complete change. Which are you looking for. Sounds like you got a quick fix to get you playing better and enjoying the game more. Sometimes bandaids can cause problems later.
