  • Right hand problem

I have been trying the right hand drill and tinkering a little and I have a question for all. Do any of you use your right hand from start to impact at all to do anything specific. I have always used just my left hand and I was wondering what the swing theories are out there for me to experiment with. Just looking for an overview of some options to try out. I am a 5 handicap and my woods are eratic and I have been wanting to find something reliable to work on. If any of the pro have any input that would be great as well.
    Thanks

    Re: Right hand problem

I'm not a pro, but the point of the right hand drill is to demonstrate that the angle of the right wrist stays constant throughout the swing. As G. Willis says, we get into trouble when the wrist swats. To get a better idea of this, start with your normal grip, when you complete your back swing separate the hands in a split grip fashion and the complete the swing. You should see that the right wrist maintians the same angle throughout
