Can anyone tell me where the ball should be in your stance when using a utility iron/Hybrid?
Thanks

Re: Utility Iron
Hi,
These are two different clubs and treated different.
A utility iron, 1 iron ect should be plyed forward in your stance the same as a three wood.
However a utility wood should be played slightly further back, or just forward of middle.
This is due to the design differences.
Hope this helps
Ian.

Re: Utility Iron
Sorry, I meant a hybrid. Would that be the same off the fairway as off the tee?

Re: Utility Iron
Slightly forward off a tee,
Hybrids are designed different from say a three wood as the shaft is much shorter and therefore should be played just left of centre.
The latest Hybrids are to replace long irons.
Ian.
