Hey golfers
I have just recently had a lesson where I was taught to rotate the hips instead of sliding them to start the downswing. I am having alot of trouble doing this correctly.
I feel I am able too rotate but each time I seem to be hitting it chunky or right. Im thinking that my grip could be to strong, hence causing scoopy shots.
Is there any drills out there to help begin the downswing properly? I have been taught one where the club comes from your belt and you rotate back and fourth and also the buttocks agaist the seat, where you go right cheek left cheek to ensure proper rotation.
I feel that my hips arent open at impact, maybe causing the great power loss. It seems that even when I do swing it properly like the pro was sayng there is not really any improvement.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers All the way from South Australia
