Re: my irons go nowhere!
jesperparnevik, hi!,
i can appreciate how u feel. same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. i could barely hit 100 with a PW whereas i avg 110-115. remained short for over a week. i then realised that, like u, in trying to hit down on the ball, i tended to hood my club face at the time of impact which did not allow me to swing through as usual besides taking out a thick divot. so what i did was to place the ball slightly ahead in my stance, keep my body wt on my left and hit as usual. Bingo! i was back to my earlier distances and accuracy. try this out. maybe it will work for you.regards,
ravi
PS. in my follow through i let my club go straight up and not wind it around me in the typical finish. the ball goes straight, long and accurate.
