Divots face left

    divots face left but ball goes straight R/H does this mean that i come across the ball, woods have a slight fade shot 77 the other day so i dont feel that i am doing to much wrong, just geting fed up with divots go left.

    There are a few that would say this is ok (1 planers), but I like to see the swatch first (the actual part in the ground, not where the divot flies).

    So if the swatch is predominantly going left, AND you are getting a fade, then definatly you are outside-in with either a square face or even open.

    Casting from the top is the most common cause.
    Next is a big reverse pivot (you would be asking about this first if this was the problem, no doubt), so it is probably the former.

    I hate to suggest this so often, but the right hand drill is essential in getting the hands working properly (always using an up/down wrist cock and release, and not the side to side.
