pnearn - thanks for that - i figured you meant that. I have been experimenting with trying to break my wrists sooner and get into a more compact position at the top (recent video shows i still cross the line a bit
) I haven't quite mastered it yet and when i do set the wrists early i tend to overswing. Anyway will keep experimenting.

) so my 'swing' back feels much shorter before I feel that 'spring' back off my right side. The other key is the loose wrists to ensure they break early naturally. I have a recurring fault where I slide to far back off the ball meaning I have to slide forward to get my lower body ahead of the ball at impact. Staying centered and in better balance really helps me
