Hi,
I have just recently bought a set of the Cleveland TA7 Irons which are half an inch longer than normal, I took a 5 Iron onto the practice field as soon as I bought them and hit it fine. Then after a few days my shots have become worse so I decided to get myself a lesson off the professional. He said that I wasnt tranfering my weight propely and I was moving my back leg backwards when it should be still all the way through. Since this I have been playing shit. I have practiced all this week and sadly I havnt got any better. I look my old Irons back onto the practice field and I hit them good, straight and quite far everytime, but I cant hit my new irons. Do you think this is because they are longer? or do you think I am doing something wrong?
Its as though |I keep thinning the ball and not hitting the sweet spot and the ball isnt going very high in the air
