Re: Right heel not coming off ground at impact

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum but not to golf I'm just going to put in my 2 cents and say that you don't want your right heel off the ground at impact. What you want to do is more of a rolling action onto the inside of your foot, let your follow though and body rotation pull your right heel off the ground. If your trying to hard to get that right heel off the ground at impact your going to run into trouble. Just my thoughts

    Cheers

Re: Right heel not coming off ground at impact

I agree that the right heel should be some what in contact with the ground at impact, but it is important that right foot rise up onto it's big toe as the swing pulls it up. Anyone leaving their back foot down to long is looking for lower back problems later on.

I am one of those golfers who lets the swing (club head) tell the various body parts what to do during the swing. The less I have to think about during the swing, the better. GJS
