Just wondering if anyone could tell me if I change my swing to a one planer would I lose some distance off the tee. I feel I have a greater range of motion with my current two plane swing. A friend of mine swings on one plane and hit some pretty sweet iron shot, and unlike me he is a very consistant ball striker.

Re: Swing change?
Do you like the trousers I'm wearing?
Oh that's right. You can't see them!
All joking aside, and this is all meant as well-meaning avice, you need to put your swing on vid and post it here so it can be seen for any worthwhile feedback mate.
Based on your question, you can be given about as much useful information as interogating a deaf mute (oh sorry, I just said all joking aside....................... never mind). Plus, I would narrow down what you really want. The swing plane is only one thing to look at re ball striking and consistency. Do you want better ball striking, to change your swing plane, or better iron shots, more distance etc? Your question is too general and the answers are endless.
If you come back to this thread and read any more answers you'll get specifics on 1000 different techniques that are all guess-work and will just complicate things for you.
Just being honest. If you want this forum to work FOR you, be more specific and give as much info as possible.
