Can someone tell me the correct height the ball should be tee'd at using either the woods or the irons?

Re: How High, How Low
Woods: 1/2 the ball should be above the top of a driver as it rests on the ground.
Irons: The ball should be resting on the top of the grass (so maybe 1/8 inch high).

and never use those horrible castle tees. Those types of tees set the ball at specific heights, however, clubs are not all built the same. So if you want the centre of the ball level with the top of the club, you'll need to adjust the height of the tee slightly; something that castle tees don't allow. Sure you can use different sized castles but they're not very flexible.

I say tee it up and high as you feel comtable. With myself I look for the broken tees because I like the ball to be so low that it is almost on the ground even with my fairway metals. But my driver I tee it so the ball is a tab of the top of the club. I have a mate who tees up his driver twice as high as his club, he uses two tees.
