  • Cure for coming "Over the top"

Just getting back into golf after a five year layoff. Can someone give me a tip or two on how to cure swinging "over the top"? Hitting everything on the toe and pulling the ball about 10 to 15 yards left of target....I thank you all in advance

The best cure for an OTT swing is to keep your back facing to the target for a fraction of a second longer, while your arms and hands start the downswing. It's a tip that has been around for years - it's a Jim Fleck drill.

The problem I have sometimes is having the club layed off at the top. My hands get away from my body, and I thus push the ball right.
