  • Choking the club for more accuracy

Hi with my woods and rescue wood i find that i choke my club a bit further down for more control and accuracy.

All i want to know is if choking down on the club is a bad habit, and do any of you guys do this.

Nothing worng with it, the shorter the club, the more accuracy, so if you choke dwon, you should gain a little bit of control.

It's quite ok. Any time you need more accuracy, you can grip down.

What does hitting a ball thin mean exactly.

It means you hit the ball above it's equator. The shot runs low and hot - and sometimes it's just as long or longer than a well struck shot.

              AKA blading
