My advice would be to take a good athletic set-up, with a mirror or window behind you. As you take your backswing look at the plane you are on and of course as you return to the ball you should be on the same path as you took going back.
Personally I have not really seen much point in trying to achieve this, as long as you stay within the swing plane lines, (I assume you are aware of these) then you are on the right track to achieve a great swing.
Good Luck..............and no don't bend over, stand tall, chest out with a slight knee flex.
Jim Hardy advocates placing a 48" ruler (or your driver) on the other side of the ball. Take your setup, then hold your club across your shoulders (so that the butt is outside one shoulder, and the head outside the other, butt pointing to target). Make your turn. The butt of the club should be pointing at your driver. If it's pointing inside the ball, you're too steep. If it's pointing outside the driver, you're too shallow.
