  • Outside in swing :-(

Hey guys I'm new here and I'm looking for some help in changing my swing plane, I currently have a outside in swing, that creates a horrendous slice (ie I hit my partner standing on the same tee - just kidding but close it seams)

    Thanks

I'm sure you'll hear this from many people, but the simple answer is:

    1. Buy and inside approach (Google it)
    2. Buy a plane stick (Google it)
    3. Put a stick into the ground (if you Google the plane stick this should make sense)

All of these are <$100, and will "force" an inside approach. You can buy copies of the inside approach on eBay or build your own.

See "immediate cure for coming over the top" post
I bought an "inside approach" and it didn`t work

        Mariner,

I think your description is the following:

        1. I used an inside approach
        2. I had an inside out (or square) path while I used it
        3. When I removed it, the problem came back

You can't have an outside in while using it, because you hit the thing and send it down the fairway.

This could lead to more philisophical ramblings about how to "break bad habits," but I'll desist and stop here...

Yes, you are right, but the bottom line is that it didn`t work!
