  • Golf Training Aid Advice!!!

Hello, I am new to this forum.

I have been golfing for around a year and play decent with wedges and irons but struggle with my driver. I have a bad slice and cannot seem to keep my left wrist (i am right handed) straight throughout the swing. I always have trouble with wrist position at impact. So, I am looking for a training aid that will help cure my bendy wrist and help my slice "outside in" swing. Any suggestions on a good training aid for this???

    -thanks

Not a training aid as such but i "waggle" sometimes when looking for the hands to go straight back to the point where you need to break. This simply involves (at address ) taking the club back 2-3 times about 20 inches with the wrist what i call solid .Once practised it not only stops the wrist breaking too early but also stops any unnecessary over swing. Hope this helps.

A good aid for the outside to inside swing problem is a little device called "inside approach". I just bought and use one for the first time. I have a habit of hitting a fade. It's really a simple device, and probably overpriced, but it will help you. If it doesn't help you they give you 30 days to return it.

You can buy a PVC clone inside approach off of ebay for $28 shipped.

Search "Orange Loop Golf." The loop is an added benfit.

            Guys,
I saw some glove on the Golf Channel today that looked interesting. It looks like a regular golf glove , just a bit bigger but it has something in it that keeps Your hands in the right position thru the swing. Almost impossible to slice using this glove. Kinda interesting.

I think this is the Swing Glove. You can find out more about it as www.swingglove.com

Slats uses this. I have one, but can't find it the moment to try it again.
