I was at the range today and had a small slice and not to good of contact on almost every shot. I dont feel like I am releasing my hands at impact. Could this be the problem. Thanks

HI,
It sounds like you are manipulating them, you cannot throw a stone without releasing the hand without some serious effort not to....................it is the same with the golf swing if you are relaxed, which you probably are not then you will release fine without having to think about it.
Try a few swings with a very very very light grip, take it to the top still as light a possible, then let it drop with a touch of speed right at the ball..................I practice this drill, turn on the speed as late as possible.
